ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing and writing production-ready code and unit tests meeting both technical and business requirements
Optimizing and enhancing systems with high-volume data logging and processing needs, and high performance requirements
Contributing architecture input to new systems as well as rewriting legacy systems
Contributing domain-specific expertise by reviewing code, reviewing design docs, solving technical problems, and mentoring junior members of the team

Django Framework

Postgres RDBMS

Front End JS Frameworks Angular and Backbone
HTML5 and CSS3 Skills
Experience with developing RESTfull APIs

EXPERIENCE:
5 + years of professional software development experience producing web-based systems
Proven track record in programming dynamic web applications that utilize a backend database
Solid understanding and practical experience using object-oriented design principles and patterns
Extensive development experience in Python
Experience using an RDBMS such as MySQL / postgres and comfortable enough with SQL to do both complex procedures, query optimization and quick debugging.
MVC web framework (Django, RoR, Catalyst)
Experience in distributed/cloud computing is a plus
